Samsung Galaxy S26, S26 Plus, S26 Ultra Leaks: Launch Date, Price, Specifications, Design
Published on December 09, 2025
As 2026 approaches, Samsung's usual launch cycle may be changing, with rumours indicating that the Galaxy S26 series could debut in February instead of late January, breaking tradition.
Design
Test firmware for One UI 8.5 has exposed crude but official-looking images of all three Galaxy S26 models. Samsung appears to be ditching its iconic floating camera rings. Instead, the S26 series shifts to a pill-shaped camera island, with each lens tucked into circular cutouts inside this new housing, reminiscent of Samsung’s Fold series since 2021.
Specifications (Expected)
- Runs One UI 8.5, built on Android 16
- Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 in most global markets
- Exynos variants in select regions
- Camera upgrades, especially on the S26 Ultra, with improved sensors and AI-based processing
Launch Date and Price in Kenya (Expected)
Reports suggest that the Galaxy S26 lineup will launch at Samsung’s Unpacked event in San Francisco on February 25, 2026. Early pricing leaks, converted approximately to Kenyan Shillings, indicate:
- Samsung Galaxy S26: ~Ksh 123,000
- Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus: ~Ksh 145,000
- Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra: ~Ksh 197,000
Although the test firmware doesn’t reveal full hardware specifications, these leaks give a clear idea of Samsung’s next-generation flagship lineup and the expected improvements, especially in design and camera capabilities.
