Hello! I'm Saul.
I'm a software developer based in Bungoma, Kenya, with over two years spent building, deploying and maintaining full-stack web applications.
Most of my work lives in Python and Django, backed by PostgreSQL. I've built a travel booking platform with role-scoped vendor dashboards and QR-coded event ticketing, and a CPD webinar portal for medical laboratory professionals that streams live sessions in the browser and issues certificates. Alongside that I work in WordPress and Joomla.
I studied Computer Science at Kibabii University and completed an intensive Django full-stack bootcamp at eMobilis Mobile Technology Institute. I'm comfortable moving between backend development, database design, deployment, and the day-to-day IT support that keeps things running.

Backend Development
Django and Python applications backed by PostgreSQL: authentication, role-based access control, background task processing and REST APIs.
Web & CMS
WordPress and Joomla sites built and maintained end to end, from information architecture through content to ongoing technical upkeep.
Database Design
PostgreSQL and MySQL schema design, and the queries and migrations that keep an application's data honest as it grows.
IT Support & Training
Day-to-day troubleshooting for staff and students, and digital literacy teaching for learners meeting computers for the first time.
